Luck, Stanford Roll Washington 65-21

Andrew Luck continued his Heisman run Saturday night and showed why he is the best quarterback prospect since John Elway. Luck completed 16 passes on 22 attempts for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns in Stanford’s win over Washington Saturday. Luck’s touchdown passes came from only 1 and 5 yards but he made NFL type throws on both attempts.

The first was a nice touch pass while Luck rolled out to his left that found Coby Fleener to extend Stanford’s lead to 17-7. The next Luck touchdown pass was completed to Drew Terrell in the left front corner of the end zone for a 31-14 lead. While Stanford ran all over Washington for 446 yards, Luck played another great game and didn’t make any mistakes. Stanford rolled to a 65-21 victory over Washington and has now won 5 straight games by 20 or more points. Andrew Luck, pictured below (AP Photo/Paul Sakuma) has now thrown for 20 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions on the season. Stanford travels to Southern California to take on Matt Barkley and the Trojans next Saturday night in a showdown of top NFL Prospects.
